The name works, because Tree of Life is thriving, thanks in large part to South Brevard´s burgeoning Latino population, which appreciates the authentic baked goods Hurtado and Hernandez make. The couple moved from Miami, where they were involved in catering, to start their dream bakery after they discovered Palm Bay through friends and family in the area. Tree of Life is by no means huge. Three tables make up the seating area, but this is primarily a to-go place where you can pick up authentic Cuban bread and pastries.
